Project smile launched out in October – November 2020 and received over 200 entries. As expected, we have successfully scrutinized each application and have concluded on the shortlisted nominees. If this is your first time coming across Project Smile. Let’s jiggle your memory a bit. Project Smile is a yearly CSR program organized by the best dental clinic in Nigeria: Smile360 Dental Specialists. Project Smile kicked off in 2011, with the sole intent of giving the community at large a perfect smile makeover. You could visit projectsmileng.com or our social media handles to see our testimonies and reviews. Often, the project has three phases before the proper announcement of winners. These three phases include:
- Phase 1: Call-to-Entry Phase via Email
The competition launches in a particular month. It is further announced through several media. This year, participants were asked to give a reason why they need a smile makeover. Project Smile is opened to both the Lagos and Abuja residents.
- Phase 2: Selection & Nomination Phase
Following the collection of entries, the stories are screened under certain criteria and conditions that determine the eligibility of entries. Three stories are selected as nominees to meet with a Panel of Judges including a ‘Celebrity Judge’. The panel of Judges will determine the three nominees in three different levels of winning categories- Severe, Moderate, and Mild.
- Phase 3: Smile Makeover Phase
The last phase is the treatment phase. All three winners will commence their smile makeover treatment.
Upon submissions this year, we have selected 6 final nominations; three (3) from Lagos and the other three (3) from Abuja. Our nominees are:
